Front Door Walks Into Kitchen

The worst feng shui positioning of a kitchen is one in which the front door enters directly into the kitchen and the kitchen is the first space viewed.

Just wondering if anyone has seen a layout of opening your front door and walking directly into your dining area kitchen. Regardless of whether they see the kitchen upon entering the front door in ten steps they will be standing right in the middle of it. We too have to walk out of the kitchen and through the living room to reach the grill. It does not apply when the kitchen is set back further in the floor plan and is partially seen.

You enter the house in a foyer and the dining room is on the right. That is i think undesirable on various different levels. To work straight into a kitchen is not always the best idea this might also not go down well with re sale value. I am wanting to renovate my long house but not sure how it will look walking straight into the kitchen dining area then on to the lounge area.

Avoid placing the kitchen close to the front door. Any thoughts or design ideas would be greatly appreciated. Can you incorporate a false wall in front of the door long enough so you can put a entrance table this will help to distinguish between the different rooms. This applies only to a floor plan where you literally come into the home through the kitchen.
